It added up after awhile.The trailer for The Sims 4 My Wedding Story was released at the beginning of February to a pleasantly surprised fanbase, with many Simmers welcoming this addition to the game. Some of those nice houses on the gallery used vastly different items and sets. I had a huge amount of store content, at least $500 worth. Side note though, they had some really cool items there, the poker tables, animal stalls, all the tech home features. So I might be abit desensitized when it comes to a few more stuff packs and GP's over that awful store system. The enormous amount of items added to the color wheel made the whole gallery creations a logistical nightmare for actually downloading what the author made. It might not account for sales and the ever decreasing cost of the game but.you get the gist, at the time it was very expensive. That's like several thousand more than my PC.
The total cost for the sims 3 came out to $7,400. It was plum, somebody on steam recently made a post adding every single item for sale. Remember when in sims 3 they had a store? Remember when it was several thousands of dollars worth of store content? Because I do. The game can be fun but i'm realising it's only fun if you keep spending more on it and there's only so much of that i'm willing to do.considering sims 5 if they ever make it will be the same this will probably be my last sims game If sims 3 can be used as an example of how many expansions the game will get (11 that's $440 at the end of the games life) it probably won't release that many due to game packs but this game is easily over $600 when it's all over. I know you don't have to buy everything and i haven't and there is sales and whatnot but it still doesn't take away the fact the game is ridiculously expensive and since it lacks so much content a lot of people almost feel the need to buy everything just to add some meat to the game. Who knows just how much more this game will release there is so much that still hasn't come (weather and pets) and at game pack and two stuff packs on the horizon
Right now if you bought everything full price (not including stuff packs) it's already $260 worth $360 if you bought all ten stuff packs The base game always goes back to barebones (sims 4 the worst with what it was missing) and then if you want to add more which necessary with this game it just adds up It's something i've always disliked about this franchise is if you buy a few expansions and what not it's insanely expensive compared to other games
